Resco MobileCRM — A Mobile App for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
The Resco MobileCRM app is a free app that allows Microsoft CRM users to sync and go off-line with their MSCRM data. The free app does not allow customizing all of what the user receives although it does allow some options for selecting entities and functionality. There is a design tool that is offered that does allow companies to easily customize the app. The design tool, called Woodford, allows a CRM administrator to configure the app to include any entity within your CRM organization including custom entities. It also gives you the ability to customize views and edit forms to allow a user to view and input desired information with ease. A license is required to use the tool.
So what are some of the main features of the Resco MobileCRM app?
No server component—Resco MobileCRM’s Woodford tool is a local software package that gets installed on whatever PC/Server you would like. When it is initially installed, the user enters the URL and credentials for their CRM Organization. The tool links up, installs locally and then adds a solution to the CRM Organization. No software or database needed on the CRM server.
Online/Offline Mode allows you to work locally if a connection is not present.
A Dashboard—Woodford allows you to setup a Dashboard for your mobile app geared towards your sales needs.
Map View—View multiple Accounts on a map or view a selected Accounts location
Calendar View—See your Appointments and Activities in a Calendar
Signatures—Collect signatures from customers for quotes, orders or other entities.
Administration Tool—Manage your mobile users and devices, or remotely wipe-out data on mobile device in case it gets stolen.
