The Dynamics 365 Social Pane is a great way for you to see all related Posts, Activities and Notes for this record, and related records. It also allows for an easy way to create, edit and complete activities without navigating to another form. There’s some advantages to using the Social Pane to control activities, as well as some limitations. One big limitation I found in the previous versions is the inability to control the sorting of these records.

e recently had a CRM online customer describe a “display problem” when using the Microsoft Dynamics iPad app to view CRM records.  When he opened a lookup field on an Opportunity record, the iPad showed possible record suggestions in a black bar running across the screen.  This is the expected behavior on the form. While the list of items showed 3 slots for field data, only the top one showed text, and the other two showed up as two hyphens instead of actual field data – like this:   “–“

I am very excited about the possibilities of Machine Learning when employed in CRM. Microsoft CRM’s next release Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 includes Machine Learning mainly around Social Discovery however this will grow to other areas of the system.
