Scribe Insight – Cross Reference Keys and the Cross Reference Lookup
If you’re familiar with Scribe Insight, you know that on install a SQL database is created to help with a myriad of functions, processes, tools, etc. This database is called SCRIBEINTERNAL. One specific table comes in very handy when migrating or processing a multitude of data. This table, called KEYCROSSREFERENCE, it works in conjunction with the Cross Reference Keys feature inside of the Scribe Insight Workbench.

We’ve been working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM since its inception, and we’re always finding innovative ways to integrate it with foreign systems. One of the challenges when ensuring data stays up to date is identifying and overcoming bottlenecks. Memory, CPU and Disk speed can contribute to a slow integration, but we typically see internet latency as the primary bottleneck. When an integration sends a request to a remote system, it usually waits idle until it receives its data. In these scenarios, it is very efficient to utilize that time by threading your integration. Why? Because threading can take advantage of that idle time by building and sending another request.

Resume with a Ransom – How to protect yourself from the latest Crypto-Locker Virus
The Crypto-Locker Virus is making its rounds again. This version, like the last is originally transmitted via an email. The email claims to contain a Resume from a friend or previous acquaintance and asks you to open it. The virus is embedded in a Word document but opening the document alone does not infect the machine. Microsoft Office has built in security measures that prevent this virus code from running but the fake resume asks you to disable those protective measures.
